Bionsight Selected for the Samsung Bioepis Open Innovation Program

Bionsight has been selected for the 2026 Seoul Bio Hub–Samsung Bioepis Open Innovation Program. The agreement ceremony was held on July 22, 2026, at Samsung Bioepis’s headquarters in Songdo, Incheon.

The program, run by Samsung Bioepis in partnership with the Seoul Bio Hub, identifies promising biotech companies and supports them in advancing their core technologies. Bionsight was selected for its proteome-wide target discovery platform, which combines data-independent acquisition mass spectrometry (DIA-MS) with artificial intelligence to determine where a drug actually binds among the thousands of proteins present in a cell.

Through the program, Samsung Bioepis will provide tailored growth support spanning technology advancement, mentoring, and commercialization consulting. Upon completion, the companies plan to explore further forms of partnership, including joint research, technology transfer, and strategic investment.

Being selected is a meaningful opportunity for Bionsight to validate and scale its target deconvolution technology alongside a global biopharmaceutical leader, accelerating the platform’s path toward real-world drug discovery applications.

Samsung Bioepis stated that the program allows the company to discover and secure next-generation biotechnology at an early stage, reflecting its ongoing commitment to strengthening the Korean biotech ecosystem.
